Rusus is the brainchild of Claudio Di Ruscio, Who Sees in aged Piceno rosso a great potential. Piceno Rosso Rusus is obtained from the oldest vineyards grapes (average age 45 years), with an average yield of 60/70 quintals per Hectare. the first label is from 1997.

  • Vinification

    The hand picking in crates harvest took place in mid October Fermentation takes places in stainless steel conical trunk vats at a controlled temperature with punching down ans pumping over. Fermentation ans maceration last 12-15 days then spontaneous malolactic fermentation on steel tanks which ends just before winter.
