Forentum wines are made from Aglianico grapes and represent very well the quality and typicality of the territory. Forentum expresses the strength of Vitis in Vulture vineyards located on the foothills of the volcano “Monte Vulture” in the territory of Lavello, “city of wine” and fertile agricultural town in Basilicata.
The Italian Sommelier Association (AIS) selects the best wines from indigenous grapes and rewards them with ” vine shoots “. The Forentum Aglianico del Vulture DOC 2016 was awarded with 3 shoots out of 4.

Vinification
Harvest last week of October, beginning of November, vinification with maceration on the skins for about 15 days and aging for 12 months in French oak barrels and then in the bottle.
